| With the advent of high temperature superconducting materials, the application ofsuperconducting technology is rising from the liquid helium temperature region to thetemperature of liquid nitrogen. High temperature superconducting motor is focused asan important application of superconducting technology to be researched in the field ofdomestic and foreign institutes. Comparing with traditional motor, it has the advantagesof high efficiency, low energy consumption, small volume and light weight, etc..Therefore, HTS Motor has great application market, will also be a key project of scienceand technology of the world in twenty-first Century.As one of the hot research of high temperature of high temperature superconductor,the subcooled liquid nitrogen in HTS motor has become an important research directionof high temperature superconducting technology. This paper is Based on the research oftechnology of Harbin Institute of Technology cryogenics and superconductivity andelectromagnetic and Electronic Technology Research Institute of internationalcooperation projects to study the subcooled liquid nitrogen cycle and high temperaturesuperconducting coil. The main contents are as follow:This paper is giving the properties of cold nitrogen changed along with thetemperature, the thermal conductivity of materials have in the63K-77K temperaturerange, and giving the calculation method of equivalent heat transfer coefficient of thesuperconducting coil.It determines of the flow chart of clod nitrogen circulation, and presents thecalculation method of AC loss of vacuum insulation and thermal load circulating in thesupporting structure and coils. According to the circular points of the pressure andtemperature, we get the temperature entropy graph of cold nitrogen cycle.It makes a flow model of sub-cooled liquid nitrogen, and simulates temperaturecoil in different channel superconducting coil shape, different size of runner, anddifferent arrangements. When coil is immersed in the number of superconducting coilcold liquid nitrogen as1,2and4, the coil temperature field simulation, that provides thetheoretical basis for making superconducting coil.We make a test to prove the cooling capacity of cold nitrogen cycle refrigerationcapacity of refrigeration system and get cooling curves of cold nitrogen cycle systemversus temperature curve, that proves that the system can meet the need of the normal operation of the superconducting motor. |
