In engineering, the dynamic load information of many key locations is veryimportant. But the information always can’t be measured directly by measuringequipment, so indirect methods are necessary to acquire the information of load. Loadidentification technique is a very valid approach. Load identification usually includestwo categories: time domain methods and frequency ones. Through many years ofdevelopment, there are a lot of mature methods which have been applied to engineering. It has been certified by the practice that the load identification technique has verysignificant application value and bright prospect in the future. The high speed vehicle becomes a hot issue in the area of military and science. Thedynamic information of some key locations during the flight condition is extremelyvaluable for structure design and material strength design, while, there are fewresearches in this field. In this paper, some preliminary research have been done onidentification of random excitation of high speed vehicle. This paper research the model of load identification in time domain. Consideringthe ill issue of system matrix and the measurement noise, regularization method isintroduced to improve identification results. After this is a MATLAB numericalsimulation by a cantilever model which is affected by a sine excitation.Random excitation is very common in engineering, For example, fluctuationpressure of the vehicle during flight condition is a typical random excitation. Based onthe Inverse Pseudo Excitation Method of smooth random excitation, a numericalsimulation and a lot of random experiments have been carried out. As a result of theseexperiments, we obtain some factors which can influence the precision of identification. These factors include number of sensors, arrangement of sensors and abnormal jitteraround natural frequencies of vibration. These experimental researches establish a basisfor vehicle load identification in the future.
