Based on the trend of miniaturization, intellectualization, high power density,high-speed of missile actuator, the traditional DC motor presented defects of bulky,high fever and maintenance hard and high control accuracy, seriously affecting themissile actuator performance. Coreless motor is a permanent magnet disk motorwith small size, high reliability, simple structure, high power density, high efficiencyand other characteristics of high performance. This motor can be widely used in thefields of aerospace marine applications, mechatronics, and robotics and so on.Accordingly the research of the disc coreless motor would be an important area offuture development direction of the motor. Disc coreless permanent magnet motorsbeing in full compliance with the missile steering direction of development, it coulddevelop a missile-oriented disc coreless servo motor.With the background of motor of missile steering as application, this paperdeveloped a coreless disc permanent magnet synchronous motor. Firstly, accordingto the performance of the missile actuator, this paper designed the basic structure ofcoreless disc permanent magnet synchronous motor, and then this research using theJMAG-Designer finite element analysis analyzed this coreless disc magnet for themiddle and end of the three-dimensional of the magnetic field, finding that theceiling effect of magnetic field and extracting air gap flux density and backelectromotive force of the motor with harmonic analysis. And then this issueanalyzed the motor torque characteristics and calculated coefficients of backelectromotive force and moment. Secondly this paper calculated the inductance ofthe motor parameters, and then analyzed Joule loss, iron loss and eddy current losswith load. Thirdly, this research confirmed thermal conductivity of the material ofthe motor, studied the motor temperature field of three-dimensional finite elementanalysis to make details of temperature rise. Compared with traditional radialmotors, the efficiency and power density of this coreless disc motors haveadvantages, putting forward critical speed, Based on the vector control of corelessdisc permanent magnet synchronous motor, SVPWM control method would beapplied to the disc coreless motor. And this project simulated with the Matlab simulink, establishing dual closed-loop control model of coreless disc motor toanalyze the properties of speed, torque, current and line voltage in the condition ofload and without load.After simulation, the design of the coreless disc permanent magnetsynchronous motor met the missile performance of high efficiency, miniaturizationand high power density. Coreless disc motor laid a good foundation for subsequenthardware and software design. The topic of this motor could not only be applied tothe field of aerospace and other high-end, but also could be applied to householdappliances, electric cars and other civilian areas. Meanwhile this coreless disc motorwould provide some reference value for similar motor design.
