The multiple physical field of generator is a comprehensive physical field, andtherefore only the coupling field analysis method to carry out accurate analysis. Mostof the previous studies, the marine generator stator and rotor were calculatedseparately, and in this paper, the marine generator stator and rotor and flow passagewere considered, and the air gap model of flow passage were built separated. Andconvection heat transfer occurs between flow passage and solid parts of marinegenerator, and solid parts of marine generator were cooled for the direct couplingnumerical analysis of flow-temperature field of marine generator. Based on previousanalysis, coupling numerical analysis of electromagnetic-temperature field of marinegenerator was finished by building the model of coupling numerical analysis andusing Coupling field analysis method and loading the results of electromagnetic fieldanalysis into temperature field analysis.Firstly, according to electromagnetic theory, some of the electromagneticparameters were obtained by analyzing electromagnetic field of marine generator bytraditional calculation method and numerical method, such as magnetic pass densityvalue, magnetic field intensity values, etc. The next phase of coupled field analysiswas laid the foundation of electromagnetic field analysis. Secondly, according to fluidmechanics theory and heat transfer theory, coupling numerical analysis offlow-temperature field of marine generator was finished by building the model andgoverning equations of coupling numerical analysis and determining the boundaryconditions and meshing the model of analysis and selecting resolver. Finally, heatsource of heating parts of flow solid heat coupling analysis of marine generator wasbased on lumped parameter method and caused imprecise result to a certain extent,therefore, based on the electromagnetic theory and numerical heat transfer theory,coupling numerical analysis of electromagnetic-temperature field of marine generatorwas finished by building the model and governing equations of coupling analysis anddetermining the boundary conditions and meshing the model of coupling analysis andloading the results of electromagnetic field analysis into temperature field analysisand selecting resolver.The following results were given from the above analysis. The distribution ofmagnetic pass density value and magnetic field intensity values of marine generatorwere obtained and the magnetic circuit path and electromagnetic parameter value were cleared from the analysis of electromagnetic field; the distribution ofpressure-plotting and air velocity vector of flow field and the temperature profile offlow field and as well as the temperature distribution value of solid heatingcomponent of marine generator and the highest temperature region was convenient toobserve; the temperature distribution value of solid heating component and some ofelectromagnetic parameter value of marine generator from coupling numericalanalysis of electromagnetic-temperature field of marine generator. The calculatingresults showed that, the result of coupling numerical analysis was more cleared bybuilding the marine generator stator and rotor and flow passage and heat conductionof the marine generator stator and rotor was more intuitive; the change of temperaturegradient of solid component of marine generator was more obvious, so thedistribution of temperature of solid component of marine generator was more cleared.Through the study of coupling analysis of electromagnetic field and flow field andtemperature field of marine generator, the important parameters of three physical fieldcharacteristics were obtained. So the features and regularities of coupling relationshipof marine generator were summarized and the theoretical basis of optimization designof marine generator structure and strengthened heat transmission technology wasprovided.
