This paper is relying the under construction programabout the Gaotang to Linqingsegment of the Gaotang to Xingtai Highway. To the typical soft ground treatment about theK5+454.5~K5+494.5paragraph as the foundation and analysis the engineering geologicalcharacteristics, the paper is to be design and calculation about the settlement andreinforcement of foundation by using Lizheng Software. In order to testing the applicability ofthe FLAC3D in the soft ground settlement study, the paper is basing on the numericalsimulation to research the foundation reinforcement effect and deformation settlement law ofChurning Pile by the three-dimensional finite difference method FLAC3D. The followingaspects of the work are mainly completed in this paper:(1)By analyzing the project overview and geology situation of the Gaotang to Linqingsegment K5+454.5~K5+494.5paragraph of the Gaotang to Xingtai Highway projects, weget the characteristics about natural geography of the highway, social economic status,topography, climate, hydrology, formation lithology, geological structure and earthquake,hydrogeological conditions and adverse geological phenomenon.(2)By analyzing the foundation soil characteristics of the Gaotang to Linqing segmentK5+454.5~K5+494.5paragraph of the Gaotang to Xingtai Highway projects, this paperdefines the heavy tamping method and churning pile method to be selected as the groundtreatment, and analysis the two methods of reinforcement mechanism, applicable conditionsand characteristics.(3)According to the spatial distribution of the foundation soil and the parameters ofparameters about the rock and soil, the final settlement of the soft ground and the residualsettlement after construction is calculated by Lizheng Software. We also calculate thechurning pile programs which is proposed and determine the final treatment proposal, whichis ‘churning pile in the K5+474.5~K5+494.5processing segment is spacing of1.1m,length of pile8.0m; churning pile in the K5+454.5K5+474.5transition segment is spacingof1.5m, length of pile4.0m; In the K5+454.5~K5+494.5paragraph overload preload of40kPa is preloading period of three months’.(4)With the bridge soft base for model and according to the actual engineering of layered fill construction process, this paper uses the FLAC3D program to simulate deformationsettlement process between the reinforcement and after the reinforcement treatment. We getsoft base deformation settlement mechanism and law, and certification from the perspective ofnumerical simulation that it is good reinforcement effect by using churning pile to reinforcethe segment soft ground.(5) It is carrying out the settlement observation of soft foundation in the highway bridgeconstruction process, and analyzing the observation data of the middle of subgrade, the leftshoulder and right shoulde in the construction process from September23,2009to March12,2010.As a result, we get the deformation settlement law of the middle of subgrade, the leftshoulder and right shoulde in the process of subgrade filling construction.(6)Through simulation settlement deformation by the FLAC3D and analysis thedeviation of actual observation deformation, it is receiving that the relative error of the centralsubgrade is within the acceptable error range of engineering, and certificating that it isapplicability to simulation the consolidation settlement deformation and the foundationtreatment effect of the highway by using the FLAC3D. |
