With the rapid development of power electronic technology, modern control theory andcomputer technology, the performance of AC speed regulation system has made a greatprogress in recent years. Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has a simplestructure, small size, high efficiency, low inertia, good reliability and so on. Also, the declinein the price of materials and performance improvement make PMSM widely used amonghigh-performance AC speed regulation system. In this paper, a AC speed regulation system ofPMSM was studied, which taking PMSM as control object, the TI company’s digital signalprocessor TMS320F2812as the control core, using the vector control strategy of id0andthe double closed loop control scheme of current loop and speed loop, and taking the voltagespace vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) as the modulation algorithm.This paper first embarks from the research background and significance, introduced thePMSM and its speed control methods, and the research status and development trends of theAC speed regulation system are summed up in this part too. Secondly, the mathematic modelsof PMSM in three-phase stationary coordinate and two-phase rotating coordinate wereestablished according to the coordinate transformation theory, and the principle of the vectorcontrol principle and algorithm implementation of SVPWM are introduced in detail. Then,the system is modeled and simulated, and the simulation results show that the system verifythe validity and feasibility of the control strategy and control strategy that the system uses.Besides, the paper also details the hardware and software design and implementation of thesystem. The hardware circuit of the system includes the control circuit and the power drivercircuit, the control circuit uses TMS320F2812as the core, equipped with perfect peripheralcircuits. The power drive circuit includes the power supply circuit, the system main circuit,the signal detection circuit and the system protection circuitry. On software design, the mainprogram and interrupt service subroutine and the relevant function module design andimplementation are introduced. Finally, the system test upon completion of building hardware and software platform and the results show that the system can achieve SVPWM inverter andreliable system operation.
