Steel box girder shop has been attached great importance to in our country andforeign academia and engineering, it is one of the key technology of long span steel boxgirder construction. And put into use at present in our country from the construction ofdozens of steel box girder bridge deck pavement conditions, these Bridges in use coscocan not meet the design requirements of the use of use fixed number of year andcomfort is cracking happened, over time, package, damaged structure such as disease,these problems not only in domestic has appeared repeatedly, so far, the problem ofsteel box girder bridge deck pavement is still a worldwide technical problems.This paper to our country and the mechanical characteristics of steel box girderbridge deck pavement, pavement functional requirement, failure pattern and the causeof the disease appear structure were induced and total knot, and carried on the thoroughanalysis. Based on the original research and design is proposed based on the loadingplan for the pavement of the steel box girder of new material and structure. The schemein theory can improve the structure and shear strength of steel bridge deck pavementdeformation and coordination ability, can effectively prevent the lower level ofstick-slip and package. In this paper, through to the material of the experimentalresearch show that the scheme is feasible.Based on the finite element analysis to pavement surface transverse to the largesttensile stress, under the rigid pavement layer between the plate and the transversemaximum shear stress between layer and layer, pavement and steel plate between thebond as a as the research object, the following conclusions:(1) with the aid of finite element analysis software ANSYS, this paper analyses theforce situation of long-span steel box girder bridge deck pavement structure, andcombining with our country actual situation analysis, thought the thickness of pavementmaterial should be controlled at about80~110mm, Lightweight aggregate of thepavement in the pavement layer thickness of50mm is suitable.(2) using high viscosity modified asphalt SMA with high toughness, thecombination of light weight aggregate concrete pavement layer formed their gearbonding state, greatly increase the cohesive force between the pavement and thepavement and bridge plate debonding, occurrence time, package, cracking phenomenonsignificantly reduced. Coupled with the superiority of the material itself, can make thebridge high temperature stability is greatly increased, the surfacing layer can be avoidedby softening in high temperature season.
