With the release of the Outline of provisions of the development of China’srenewable energy in "the12th Five-Year Plan", the utilization of the ground source heatpump system demonstration projects is becoming more and more widely. But there’s notmuch summary analysis about the corresponding field surveys and field test of the actualoperation of the different systems. So researches in this regard are carried out in thisarticle. In this paper, through the investigation results and short-term monitoring of the actualsituation in the field of eight ground water-source and pipes-buried-in-the-ground groundsource heat pump system demonstration projects which include public buildings, hotels, hospitals, museums, stadiums, office buildings and other building types in Hubei region, and through the rational arrangement of the test rig in these projects, the correspondingtests of the operation of the system are applied, and apply energy efficiency evaluation tothese projects, and the test data were studied and analyzed; The main information of thetests and investigations are as follows: basic information of the projects, water temperatureand flow rate of the chilled water at inlet and outlet, the coefficient of performance of theunit and system, energy saving and environmental effect and so on. Then summarizes theadvantages and disadvantages of the projects and suggests the appropriate energy-savingmeasures.Through the analysis of the test data, results are obtained that the energy efficiencyratio of most of the systems in the eight demonstration projects is between2and3, thecoefficient of performance the units of these projects generally range from2.5to5.5andthe energy-saving rate of the systems are all higher than30%. Comparing of the above twosystems, we can draw the conclusion that the effect of energy-saving and economic effect in the groundwater-source heat pump systems utilized in the middle and lower reaches ofthe Yangtze River region are more noticeable than pipes-buried-in-the-ground groundsource heat pump systems. This provides the necessary engineering data reference for boththe optimized design of similar projects and energy-saving renovation of existingbuildings-related projects.
