Ground Source Heat Pump uses renewable geothermal energy for cooling andheating, this new technology have a advantage in saving and environmental protection andit is appealed to use in all over the country. he loads are quite imbalance between summerand winter in Wuhan., the average soil temperature will increase in several years’ running. The problem of heat balance plays has a great effect on the total cost in the long run.In this study a solution to the heat accumulation was proposed Intermittent operationbetween ground heat exchanger (GHE) and cooling tower can solve this problem.we paidattention to the factors of affect the total cost. We set up a model of an office building inWuhan and made a Optimization of a Hybrid Ground-Source Heat Pump System inEconomic analysis. In addition to the HGSHP system, an extra cooling tower was chosen, whose capacity was equal to the GHE, so that the system can run regularly when the GHEdid not work. We wanted to find the best way to reduce the cost in the ten years’ running.Simulation results showed the exiting fluid temperatures, the soil averagetemperature and the total operating costs were lower, the efficiency of heat pump washigher, the heat been rejected to the soil was lower compared to the continuous operation. It is concluded that we could reduce the cost if the system were working in a bettercondition. The results from this study have some reference value in practical engineering.Reliability are used in the Hybrid Ground-Source Heat Pump System,The results fromthis study also have some reference value in practical engineering.
