The axial pump occupies an important position in the national economy, and in somecoastal and riverside area of pump stations, water diversion irrigation need part-time,part-time drainage requirements can be both positive and negative work to run. Ordinaryaxial flow pump runs forward with a high efficiency, but in the reverse run, inefficient, notonly can not meet the requirements, and more with the national energy policy significantlydeviate from, so bi-axial pump design the study has major significance. The thesis focuseson the design model, the use of CFD to expand within the flow analysis and performanceprediction, designed to provide the basis for the bi-directional axial flow pump model toseek reasonable structure. The main thesis work are as follows:(1) According to the given parameters requires preliminary two-way axial pumphydraulic design, lift method-based design impeller, to streamline method design guidevanes. UG establish a three-dimensional model of bi-axial pump impeller, guide vanes, elbows, inlet pipe, outlet pipe including runner drawn in order to facilitate the processing ofthe blades of the impeller and the guide vanes wooden model diagram. CFD analysisprovides a numerical simulation of the initial model.(2) the use of FLUENT and CFD-Post software for the design of the commencementof the bi-axial pump model numerical analysis the tetrahedral unstructured meshing, meshing with ICEM software calculated Reynolds averaged NS equations and thecontinuity equation asThe control equation turbulence model chosen standard two-equationmodel, and SIMPLEC algorithm to solve the flow rate and pressure. Being reverse run fivedifferent traffic conditions make a performance prediction and numerical results are givenin detail, reverse run bi-axial pump speed and pressure on the blade distribution details. The influx analysis and comparison, the most advantage of the one-way axial pump withspecifications under the with Reversible Pump proposed reverse runtime and results ofreverse runtime characteristics.(3) for the two-way structure of axial flow pump characteristics using CFD methods topredict the changes of structural parameters of the guide vanes (cascade densities) bi-axial pump performance, reasonable structure.
