The rigid mine dump truck, also known as the rigid non-highway truck is widely used totransport material in non-highway places such as metallurgy mines, opencast coal mines andiron ores, water conservancy and hydropower sites, non-ferrous metal mines and constructionsites. It is a highly efficient conveyance that is mainly used to transport ore, rock, coal, etc.With the increasing scale of open pit mines and the major coal mines, the rigid mine dumptruck become the main conveyance in opencast coal mines and mine production because ofthe advantages such as long service life, load capacity and fast turnaround. The mainstreamrigid mine dump truck in market has two kinds,50-ton and100-ton.The thesis discusses the standard design process of the rigid mine dump truck, and givesa detailed introduction to the various stages of the electrical system design process accordingto clear and practical principle. The process includes design sources, project approval, generalrequirements, overall design of the electrical system, electrical system design, system testingand adjustment. The paper is divided into five chapters: ChapterⅠ explores the necessity andfeasibility of the rigid mine dump truck electrical system design from the two dimensions ofmarket and technology; Chapter II introduces the design source and the overall research ideasof the rigid mine dump truck electrical system in accordance with three levels of the entirety,the system and the portion; Chapter Ⅲg ives detailedresearch,design,calculation and selectionof the important parts of the rigid mine dump truck electrical systems such as the batteries,power supply circuit, bus instruments, harness and connectors and the vehicleinterconnectivity; Chapter Ⅳ describes the testing and adjustment of part of thekey electricalcomponents’ functions based on completed design of the rigid mine dump truck and combinedvehicles test situation, such as the speedometer, transmission gear,calculation and test of theexternal power characteristics matching,lighting devices.ChapterⅤsummaries the entirearticle, and discusses the future direction of electronic control technology of the dump vehiclebriefly combined with the current and development trends of the construction machineryelectronic technology.According to provisions, the rigid mine dump truck has passed the state type test andindustrial test after designed, The results shows that the rigid mine dump truck electrical system has strong pints such as stable performance, full function and advanced technology.Then obtains customers praise and achieves the desired effect.
