Airborne digital photogrammetry is a technic that taking mapping camera onairplane to take photo of the earth. Airborne digital photogrammetry has widespreadused in the military, national construction and other fields.Growing with the science and technology, the demands on the airborne digitalphotogrammetry are higher and higher, the focal becoming longer and the filedincreasingly wide, the aberration of the lens system becoming serious. The lens systembecoming bigger and heaver with traditional aberration correction. So we need a newway to solve the problem. This dissertation mainly focuses on design lens system for aerial mapping camera, and aberration corrected by two layer DOE, and so on. The main content of thisdissertation are that:(1) Overview the aerial mapping cameraIn this dissertation we investigate the development of aerial mapping camera home andabroad and research the principle of work and the constructional feature in differentaerial mapping cameras.(2) Design and analysis of DOEIn order to apply the diffractive optical element (DOE) to the aerial mapping camera, the fundamental characteristics of the DOE were studied, such as diffraction efficiencyof DOE in different incident angles, aberration of DOE and dispersion of DOE. Therelation about diffraction efficiency of the HDOE and incident angles is presented.(3) Optimize the lens system by insert DOEAscertain the parameter of the lens system. Design an initial lens system and optimizeit then analysis aberrations of the system. Besides, a two layer DOE was designed forthe aerial mapping camera. Insert the two layer DOE into the system and optimizing byCodeV.The results prove that the lens system is fit for aerial mapping camera. It works well, and is light and small than the initial design. The above method and results willprovide powerful theoretical foundation for DOE application at large incident angle.
