Analysis And Application Of Underground Garage Ventilation And Smoke Extraction System

In recent years, with the rapid development of the national economy and theimprovement of the living standards of residents, the number of car ownership isincreasing rapidly, and in many cities, parking is not only a difficult problem but also avery serious issue. At present, regardless of residential buildings or commercialconstructions, parking is regarded as an important indicator, which must be audited inthe formal implementation of each project. Ground parking can not guarantee therequirement of normal use, underground garages are built in order to solve the shortageof land both in residential buildings and commercial constructions. Compared withbuildings on the ground, underground garages are highly airtight, which makes theflow, Automobile exhaust or high temperature flue gas generated in the event of a firedifficult to spread, so normal ventilation and fire smoke exhaust system must be set upin underground garages. Ventilation of underground garages promptly eliminatesautomobile exhaust and gasoline vapors in the garages and supplies the outdoor air todilute the concentration of pollutants within the limits prescribed by the nation;exclusion of underground garages rapidly, timely excludes generated high-temperatureflue gas, prevents the rapid spread of the flue gas, protects people’s lives and propertysafety and reduces casualties in case of fire. How to better solve ventilation andexclusion design of underground garages, at the same time reducing the projectinvestments and operating costs, economy and rationality of ventilation and exclusiondesign of underground garages is particularly important.In this paper, the principle of ventilation and exclusion systems, calculationmethods and the normal forms of engineering design in underground garages areanalyzed, relevant provisions of national norms and existed problems for ventilation and exclusion in underground garages are discussed. Take the design for the ventilationand exclusion systems in underground garage of1st residential building of Yan’an CityPeople’s Political Consultative Conference for analyzing example, the design is furtheroptimized, reasonable and economy ventilation and exclusion systems design inunderground garage are put forward based on analysis and calculation of specificissues.
