The short-leg shear wall structure is one kind of new lateral resistant structuralsystem, which was rised in our country. And many problems need to be studied andperfected. There are many advantages compared with the conventional shear wall, such asstructure flexible layout, light weight, easy hole arranged and so on. Many domesticprojects proved that this structure form has significant economic and social benefits, and ithas a good development prospect. However, this form is not very perfect in engineeringapplication and its seismic capability could be improved through adjustments of somedetails. These adjustments must bring more economic value to society, better guarantee thepeople’s life and property safety. This paper introduces the concept of the short-shear wall,layout principle and application characteristics, and it completed the following work:⑴Bending moment and Curvature were calculated in MATLAB for shear walls, anddifferent ratio of axial compressive force and the rebar ratio of short shear walls withT-shaped cross section are analyzed in this paper,and drew M-ψ curves. The resultsindicate that with the increase of ratio of axial compressive force, the ductility decrease.And, the earthquake resistance performance of the shear walls can be made better with theincrease of rebar ratio.⑵The experimental specimen size were designed, then the calculation ofreinforcement were completed. And it calculated the specimen theoretical limit bendingmoment and shear force value. And it put forward that the vertical setting hinge at the partof T-shaped short-leg shear wall in T plastic joint can improve the seismic behavior ofspecimens.⑶Through the study of experimental load and failure process, by comparing thedifferent cracks, hysteretic curve, stiffness, energy dissipation, equivalent damping, theseismic behavior of short-leg shear wall with slit is higher than that of specimen withoutslit.⑷Design for an engineering project of T shaped short-leg shear wall. First,determined the component of material level, and then calculate the height of vertical slit.Second, completed force calculation of reinforced and distribution of the reinforcement incomponent. |
