Pilots’ human error constitutes a serious threat to civil aviation fight safety. Evaluation of civilaircraft cockpit ergonomics can provide a basis for the structure and layout of the cabin equipmentoptimization, making pilots complete the mission more safe, comfortable and efficient. This paperaimed at the civil aircraft cockpit ergonomic evaluation method, and carried out the followingresearch:This thesis established a civil aircraft cockpit ergonomic evaluation index system. Based on thesystem analysis method, this thesis studied the influencing factors of civil aircraft cockpit ergonomicsdesign and established the civil aircraft cockpit ergonomics evaluation index framework.. Experts’consultation was conducted based on the modified Delphi method, the results of the consultation datais analyzed, and the evaluation indexes are selected using the boundary value method. According tothe requirements of airworthiness regulations and the industrial standard for cockpit ergonomicsdesign, the value of indexes was calculated.This thesis studied the evaluation methods of civil aircraft cockpit ergonomics. For the fuzzyfeature of index and expert assessment in the ergonomic evaluation of aircraft cockpit, themembership function was constructed, and a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model was established.For the subjective weight determined method is affected by experts’ subjective factors easily, AnalyticHierarchy Process requires consistency test and a large amount of calculation, the basic weight ofindexes were determined based on a combination of modified AHP and Subjective weight determinedmethod, then introducing the variable weight principle, constructing the variable weight function, andvariable-weight method was given. The features of ergonomic evaluation methods are studied, and thesuitable evaluation methods for every index were provided.This thesis developed a civil aircraft cockpit ergonomic evaluation prototype system. The virtualsimulation ergonomic method based on the DELMIA software platform are studied, the parameterizedpilot human body model was developed, pilots’ body posture library was built. The civil aircraftcockpit ergonomic evaluation prototype system was developed. Combined with a cockpit ergonomicsevaluation of a type of aircraft in the development process,the case of evaluation was given, and theevaluation conclusion was obtained.
