With the fast technology development, a variety of electric equipments are applied in daily life.And, the requirements for them are stricter. As an interface to the gird, three-phase pulse widthmodulation (PWM) rectifier can not only effectively reduce input current harmonics, but alsoregulate the input power factor. Hence, it is of importance to take a research on it. This thesismainly focuses on developing a kind of three-phase voltage source PWM rectifier (VSR), which hasadvantages of low input current harmonics, high power density, and high efficiency.Firstly, in this paper, three-phase VSR is researched on the following aspects: firstly, both lowand high frequency models have been set up in dq coordinate, based on the low frequency model, acontrol loop with voltage current dual-loop control has been designed. To improve the antijammingcapability of digital phase-locked loop (digital PLL), the finite impulse response (FIR) the digitalfilter, which has a strongly restraining influence on the foundmental and second harmonics, hasbeen added to the PLL control loop.; Meanwhile, two control strategies: SPWM and SVPWM, havebeen introduced and compared on DC voltage utilization ratio, and harmonic content, etc.Then, a4KW three-phase VSR prototype based on TMS320F2812DSP control has beendesigned, and control strategies discussed above has been achieved. All the performance indexs,such as efficiency, total harmonic distortion (THD), and power factor, have been satisfied.Experimental results verify the feasibility of the control strategies above.Lastly, a precise inductance design scheme has been introduced in this paper. To reduce thevolume and weight of three-phase VSR system, the Magneties一Integration(MI) techniques hasbeen adopted in it. A decoupled MI scheme is used in the three-phase inductances. Andexperimental results verify that high power density can be achieved without reducing other indexsby this scheme.
