Mechanical energy is widespread on pavement, It is feasible that the mechanicalenergy is converted to electrical energy. recycling has strong feasibility. Machineryenergy recovery from pavement based on piezoelectric transducer consistent withsustainable development and the concept of low-carbon,It is an effective way of energyrecovery and has great research value. This article takes the analysis method ofcombining with the pavement load and environmental characteristics, analysising thetheoretical, finite element simulation and laboratory testing, the research of piezoelectrictransducer was carry out for asphalt pavement mechanical energy collected. Specific forthe following several aspects:First, According to the basic theory of piezoelectric coupling and the characteristicsof vehicle load, piezoelectric structure suitable for asphalt pavement was choosed, thestructure of piezoelectric transducer and the characteristics of piezoelectric transduceroutput were analysised, the factors that have an effect on open circuit voltage and powerwere determined.In this paper, the Finite Element Analysis model of the piezoelectric transducer ispresented and calculated by the ANSYS program. Geometry parameters can beoptimized by analyzing regulation of their effect on the open circuit voltage of thetransducer, the stored energy and ultimate stress. Suitable material was choosed toprepared cymbal piezoelectric transducer and its packaging, piezoelectric properties,dielectric properties and piezoelectric coupling performance were analyzed,andultimately geometry parameters was determined for road machinery piezoelectrictransducer.According to the characteristics of vehicle load and the stress response of asphaltpavemen, An analysis method was come up with for the Evaluation of piezoelectricperformance to cymbal piezoelectric transducer. Effective input impedance wasanalysised in the frequency range of the effective load. establish the function relation ofthem.The Relationship between open circuit voltage of the transducer and the load andfrequency was explored,and the transducer frequency was ansysed in range of thevehicle efficiency.According to the conditions of actual road and loading, a preliminary applicationof cymbal transducer on the road for energy recovery based on a small-scale test roomwas researched. the relationship was studied preliminary between the connection withthe transducer output, durability and long-term performance of embedded piezoelectrictransducer were analysised. Energy harvesting circuit was designed and produced according to the energy conversion characteristics of cymbal piezoelectric transducer.And the energy collecting was tested. The results showed that submerged cymbaltransducer can be collected74.9uJ power through the cumulative effect of axle least15.2times.
