The current global warming has caused the concern of all over world, our stateputs forward energy conservation and emission reduction, and formulated theenergy conservation law of the People’s Republic of China. In the water industry toimplement the national "energy conservation" policy of the important measures is toreduce the leakage of water distribution system and decrease the electricityconsumption. With the continuous development of urban and rural integration, the size of thecity is increasing, the population is more and more. The resulting problem is greaterthe larger water demand, the increasing scale of the water supply network. A lot ofcities have achieved the regional water supply, which resulted in many large-scalewater distribution systems. With the water distribution systems service areaincreasing, the water pressure or the use of the factory have increased pressuremidway way to achieve long-distance water supply. Factory pressure and elevatedpressure midway inevitably lead to increased water consumption, so that the pipenetwork operating costs increased. With the expanding water supply network, thetopology increasingly complex, difficult operation and management, the waterdistribution systems require zoning management. Since the daily work of thepipeline maintenance is not in place, resulting in severe leakage, which resulting inreduced water supply corporate profits. Moreover, with increasing levels of theeconomy, people on water quality and quantity have become increasinglydemanding. Existing water pipe network existence of these problems, it is difficultindividually by optimizing scheduling or other measures to be implemented. In thenew water supply pipe network through scientific and rational planning you canavoid these problems arising realize users of water quality, water quantity and waterpressure and higher requirements. To solve the above problems, this study using fractal theory, the water supplynetwork in line fractal self growth characteristics for water supply pipe networkplanning. During the water supply system planning, depending on the urbaninfrastructure planning, and meeting urban road planning and construction landplanning, based on the establishment of water user graphic information databasemodel. Secondly, making the nodes multistage cluster zoning. According to theactual situation of each zone-level division prioritize nodes. In each district basedon the use of fractal growth of self-organization, to complete each sub-region watersupply pipe network from growth. Combine with planning period of the new watersource information, eventually forming water distribution system planning. In this scheme has been carried out on the water supply network partitions, water supplynetwork is completed forms can be directly run by district administration.A city in southern water distribution system planning for instance, through theestablishment of fractal growth model to get from the water supply networkplanning layout scheme, and comparing with the traditional design scheme.Confirmed the superiority of the model. On this basis, the fractal self growth modelis applied to the northern coastal city water distribution system planning, the resultsshow economy and hydraulic resistance effect is very significant, the effect isobvious.
