It is becoming clearer that the automobile will turn towards the direction ofintelligent with the development of the automotive industry. The key ofautomobile as a part of the intelligent system, it is extent of the security andintelligence is also rising. The vehicle door control system takes the first defenseline in the safety system, and so it is very important for the total safety system. The automobile key has experienced the development from the ordinarymechanical type to the electronic chip type. Nowadays, the wireless key entrysystem has found it popularity and acceptance in the current society. Under thecondition of wireless, the total security of the automobile depends on the safetyof the algorithm of encoding system. Nowadays, the current passive keyless entryis based on the encoding algorithm of KEELOQ which is designed by theMicrochip Corporation, so it is important to have a detail analyze on theKEELOQ algorithm. The differential analyze is one of the most efficient method in all of thecipher analyze methods. When the microcontroller encodes the plaintext, weshould take the DFA attack on the system into consideration. Since the securitysystem using on the PKE system is based on the microcontroller, so it isimportant to analyze the encoding system with the method of differential faultanalysis. The paper will analyze the cipher system of KEELOQ used on the PKEsystem with the method of DFA. Under the software of VC++, we will give all ofthe fault location which can attack the encoding system and get the encoding keysuccessful. Then, we will get all of the fault locations and analyze how manyencoding key bits it can recover. In the software of MATLAB, we use all of thedata and draw a graph to analyze which one fault location is the most efficientlocation for the DFA method. In the method of AES encoding system, we alsoanalyze the encoding system with the DFA method, and get the possibility ofusing the DFA method to recover the entire encoding key. Since the AESalgorithm is based on the byte and KEELOQ algorithm is based on the bit, weconnect both of the benefits to design a new algorithm to overcome the DFAattack. For controlling system of current PKE, since the current system just use abidirectional system, the low frequency message is unchangeable. If the attackerhas get the low frequency message and sent it near the key, the key will send themessage that can use it to open the door, then the attacker intercept the message and send the message near the car, then the message will open the door. Based onthe current system, we design a full directional system to let the attacker cannotuse the same way to enter the vehicle. After finished the entire task, we try thenew system on a microcontroller to test its validity and efficiency.
