Multi-way valve is the core of hydraulic excavator hydraulic system hydrauliccontrol components, its main role is to control the movement of the hydraulicexcavator implementing agencies, which determines the performance of the excavator,excavator degree of automation, effectively reducing the labor intensity. Multi-wayvalve performance is very vulnerable to, as the excavator poor working conditions,environmental impact and become unstable, and the possibility of multi-way valvefailure also increases. The actual situation indicates that the multiple valve failure isthe main cause of excavators failure. Therefore, based on the basis of fault diagnosistechnology, it is of great significance to carry out research on of hydraulic excavatorsmultiple valve failure.The CN330hydraulic excavator control system is analyzed to explore the typicalfault excavators of multi-way valves, according to hydraulic excavator CN330multi-way valves as the research object, the fault judgment of excavator multi-wayvalves as the research object. We get the method of determining the different faultsthrough the analysis. The main text contains the following five aspects:1. The paper discusses the background and significance of the topic, introducesthe general situation of the hydraulic excavator simulation technology and faultdiagnosis technology, discusses the difficulties of fault analysis of hydraulic excavator,and put forward the fault diagnosis of multi-way valve excavator ideas.2. The paper introduces Hydraulic excavator CN330multi-way valves structure,analyzes its negative power control function, straight line function and regenerationcombined function and states the spool stuck, and the valve spool wear, springdeformation or fracture, seal damage and so on.3. The simulation model of control system for hydraulic excavator is establishedin the AMEsim, both the alternating power twin pump modeling and reversing valveHCD database modeling are narrated. The parameters of simulation model, thecalculation method of the valve core throttling grooves area, are introduced in thispaper.4. Designed the CN330rotary excavator experimental program, throughexperimental and simulation results were compared. The simulation model is accuratesimulation and experimental results are reliable. 5. The paper describes the detailed typical faults of the multi-way valve: valveleakage fault, spool stuck fault, pilot pressure fault, analyses the basic theory of valveleakage, and leakage fault simulation model was established, The judgment method ofvalve leakage is obtained through the simulation analysis. The fault parameters are setin the simulation model and the spool stuck fault and the pilot pressure insufficientfault are analysed. The determination method of spool stuck fault and the pilotpressure fault is proposed through the analysis of the results.
