Extradosed cable-stayed bridge is one kind of cable-staye combined systembridge which has characteristics of low tower、rigid girder、concentrated stay cableand of which stiffness is between continuous girder bridge and conventionalcable-stayed bridge.At first, this paper reviews the origin and developing situation of extradosedcable-stayed bridge, and introduces its classification and characteristics and theproblems of its name and definition. Then, combining with engineering examples,Qiupuhe bridge (three span prestressed concrete extradosed cable-stayed bridgewhich has single tower with single cable plane and double row line), establish thefinite element model of the whole bridge, and do the static analysis. In addition, dothe comparative analysis and research on economy and technology of three spansprestressed concrete of extradosed cable-stayed bridge in different parameters suchas height of tower, length of none cable area, height of girder and ratio betweensidespan and mainspan, then conclude the selecting principle of superior economyand technology index of parameters like tower, girder and stay cable, which canprovide some reference value for engineering design.
