Under the drive of economic globalization and domestic health care reform, domestic drug production and sales industry developed rapidly. Inspired by foreignchain operation successful cases, the domestic medicine sales generally adopt chainoperation mode, and the scale was growing. Market has been more competitive.Distribution was chain enterprises implement of chain business, was a bridgeconnecting the nodes. Its efficiency and precision were often critical to managementbenefit of whole enterprises. This article was based on the delivery routing problems asthe core, committed to improve the efficiency of medicine chain enterprise distribution, reduce distribution costs and improve market competitiveness. In this paper, a comparison for different solutions of distribution routing problemswas given. The characteristics of different algorithms was analyzed, the author decidedto adopt the genetic algorithm to solve the model in this paper. A genetic algorithm forsolving medicine distribution route model wad designed. In order to improve the geneticalgorithm global search ability, the basic crossover and mutation operator wasimproved.Combined with different levels strictly of customer requirements for receiving thetime interval in the medicine distribution, hard and soft time windows under thecoexistence of distribution routing problem was proposed. And according to the flexiblerequirements of different customers in hard time windows, two situations in whichvehicle must wait and don’t need to wait come forward.A medicine chain enterprise numerical example was given, basic algorithm andimproved genetic algorithm was used for routing problems with no time window, thesingle time window and hard&soft time windows. The analysis of the results could acommon rule that optimal cost and the number of vehicles (paths) were roughlyproportional to the degree of the strict time window. A reference in actual distributioncircuit arrangement emerged.According to the two iterative calculation results of algorithms and the timelinessanalysis of the calculations, improved algorithm practical applicability on operationeffect and operation time.
