The automobile is an important transport mean, and it has been inextricablylinked to people’s life, but with the number of vehicle production and ownershiprapidly increasing, it not only led to rapidly increase in vehicle emissions, but alsoled to accelerating depletion of energy resource. Therefore, how to reduce the car’senergy consumption and environmental pollution, it naturally has become an urgentproblem of our government to solve.The countermeasures to solve these twoproblems: the one is to increase the energy conversion efficiency of the conventionalcars and reduce harmful emissions (Guo Ban Fa [2013]12" Opinion of Circular ofthe General Office of the State Council on strengthening the energy saving andemission reducing of Internal Combustion Engine Industry "); The other one is thedevelopment of new types of alternative fuel vehicles, pure electric vehicles, fuel cellvehicles and hybrid electric vehicles. Among them, hybrid electric vehicles areconsidered to be one of the most important countermeasures and the most realisticoption to deal with energy and environmental pollution in the vehicles industry.The hybrid electric vehicles has a power system of internal combustion engine ofthe traditional vehicles (engine, fuel tank, etc.), and a set of electric drive systems. Iteither rely on the internal combustion engine or electrical work alone, or the jointwork of the internal combustion engine and electric power can be used. It can getgood fuel economy and emissions through the reasonable control strategy.The main content of the papers:①Elaborated the background and significance of the thesis, and to compare theefficiency, pollution, cost of electric vehicles with that of internal combustion enginevehicles;②Introduce and compare the basic composition of the different forms of hybridvehicles, and their respective characteristics and its energy-saving mechanism andanalyze the impact of the quality and component layout of vehicle on theperformance of the vehicle;③Aim to parallel hybrid vehicles, reference to the parameters and powerrequirements of someone existing type vehicle, select main power components ofthe hybrid electric vehicle and design its parameters;④Establishing simulation model of the main engine, electric motor, batteries and other automotive parts by apply hybrid vehicle simulation software ADVISOR; thencalculate and simulate under the typical driving cycle CYC-UDDS to get power,economy and emissions and other indicators of hybrid electric vehicle;⑤Develop secondary the software of advisor to study energy management(determining the distribution of engine and motor torque) control strategy of thehybrid electric. Aim to economy and emissions, simulation and analysis the electricauxiliary control strategy and the fuzzy logic control strategy. The simulation resultsis that the stability of engine output torque and the fuel economy, emissions ofengine under fuzzy logic control strategy is better than that under electric auxiliarycontrol strategy,narrowed the fluctuation range of the battery SOC; it verifies theaccuracy and reliability of fuzzy logic control strategy.
