Bridges are in the process of using a wide variety of loads, there are a lot ofbridges have had varying degrees of damage, damage over time, and continues todevelop. The injury affects the flow of transport, in order not to jeopardize China’sfast-growing economy, guarantee the smooth operation of bridges and reduce thecost of repair and maintenance of bridge structures, bridge damage identification inorder to be able to accurately and quickly, providing accurate data for maintenancesupport.Damage identification of bridges is a very popular research topics in recentyears, this article by reading large amounts of information at home and abroad,summed up the more commonly used today to identify the various methods, and bycomparing the advantages and disadvantages of the various methods, and madebased on the values of vibration modal curvature difference on structure damagerecognition.This article first describes the current common bridge damage identificationbased on dynamic characteristic parameter of method and theory. Next, this articlethrough the first5-order modes for simply supported beam damage detection of avariety of different conditions, and evaluates the results plotted as histograms, andjudge the location of injury. Then, by a three-span continuous beam after differentlocations, varying degrees of damage damage identification of different operatingmodes, calculation of results draw a histogram, based on the value of vibrationmodal curvature difference method for calculation of results can be very good for theinjury was identified.Articles through the use of modal modal curvature difference value of damageidentification, analysis and calculation results can be accurate for structure damagelocation identification, to the use of dynamic characteristics of structure parametersfor damage identification purposes.
