The vehicle happens brake failure or turn off easily when people driving on the longitudinal slope, so traffic accidents are always happened when driving on large longitudinal slope sections. However, the design of longitudinal slope sections is existed because of the mountainous terrain constraints. Therefore, the security designing studies for the large longitudinal slope sections has become the focus of the highway research. This paper is focus on defining the large longitudinal slope and studying security designing for research.The combination of longitudinal raised safety of the program design and evaluation are studied by collecting a lot of relevant information and documentation. Firstly, the grew up in the dominant models of the large longitudinal slope design is determined by investing the leading accident vehicle and analyzing China’s current development of mountain highway vehicles running trend based on the basic theory of driving cars. Secondly, the advantages and disadvantages of single longitudinal, longitudinal steep slow, steep longitudinal slow, steep slow grow slowly with the longitudinal are analyzed by comparing combination programs of longitudinal. The reasons of single longitudinal design domestic and foreign difference are analyzed according to the points of traffic safety and vehicle climbing performance. Thirdly, the model factor of prediction model is determined. The operating speed prediction model is established. The predictive value and its accuracy are verified. Lastly, the evaluation of longitudinal sections safety is proposed based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and the evaluations are evaluated. Through the analysis of results of the evaluation, putting improvement measures forward, the highway traffic safety is protected.
