Of the total energy consumption in China, the energy consumption of the building especially public building accounted for an increasingly large proportion. The energy saving problem has become an inevitable requirement of social and economic development. But it is not simple to use less energy, but more important to improve the energy efficiency and reduce energy waste. Therefore, the establishment of a public building’s energy consumption monitoring to find problems, can play a role in energy saving.Based on public buildings for monitoring points, it proposes the design proposal of collection and processing system about building energy consumption monitoring data, and build corresponding system platform. Also it can provide energy decision scheme under the unreasonable energy situation.Firstly, energy consumption types of buildings is analyzed, and research on energy consumption monitoring object is made. Based on the above it constructed building hydropower energy consumption monitoring data acquisition system composed of WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) to realize real-time acquisition and monitoring of water and electricity use of the floor inside the building. In addition it completes timing upload data communication with the host computer. At the same time to the MCU building temperature, humidity acquisition system is established to provide relevant parameters for data processing and decision-making. The upper computer receives the data then uses Access to set up energy consumption monitoring database. It accesses the database by using of the graphical programming tool LabVIEW to realize the energy consumption data query, display and other processing. The water consumption of abnormal alarm systems controlled by the single-chip microcomputer were set to Each floor of the building. Through comparing treatment on the acquisition of energy consumption data energy waste would be found and warn on time. Finally, according to the situation of building energy use and the temperature and humidity of environment it can make the decision scheme about unreasonable energy and waste used for building management to carry out energy-saving treatment.Acquisition and processing of building energy consumption monitoring data employ the idea of modular design. The system is stable, reliable, and easy to extend and maintain. The design of simulation platform system for acquisition and processing of building energy consumption monitoring data is completed in the laboratory. Its performance accords with the demand and lay the foundation for further construction of energy consumption data collection of building group.
