In recent years, follow the step of China’s rapid economic growth and the improvement of the comprehensive national strength, the development of the field of traffic engineering construction grow quickly.Although the V-shaped pier bridge has the above advantages, setting the profiled piers increased the difficulty of construction. V-shaped pier structure internal force is complex. In order to ensure safety and reliability of bridge in the construction process and making bridge linear and internal forces meet the design requirements, it is needed to monitor the process of the V-shaped pier bridge construction.This paper first describes the development of the V-shaped pier bridge. The significance of the V-shaped pier bridge construction monitoring and the basic theory and method of construction control has also been introduced in. Da Heihe Island Bridge project is selected as the research object in this paper. A FEM(finite element method) software is used to build a structure model which used to analysis the bridge, several important design parameters of the main beam (shrinkage and creep of concrete, temperature, weight, stiffness Etc.) is used to do sensitivity analysis and the local space stress analysis has been done in monitoring V-shaped pier, to provide a theoretical basis for the subsequent construction monitoring. According to the actual situation of the construction site, construction monitoring system has been established, and the most unfavorable section of full-bridge structure is selected to do emphasis construction control. Through on-site monitoring to the measured data and theoretical data for comparative analysis, assess of bridge structures under various conditions of security status ensure the successful completion of the bridge construction. At the same time, it can be a reference for future similar V-shaped pier bridge structure building.
