Xinjiang is cold and it is an area where earthquakes frequently occur. Due to this, this research groupproposed a new structure--the insulation grille lightweight concrete hollow blocks mixed adobe compoundwall. This wall is to make the ceramsite concrete hollow block as the outer mold,and to pour the EPS mixedsoil into the outer mold block holes,so that to form the inner core of the outer mold to a whole part. Sincethe inner core is a whole, it has a good seismic performance, the outer mold and the inner core sharepressure together, has a good pressure-bearing function. The combination of them can overcome theirdeficiencies and fully produce their advantages. Such a type of structure has the characteristics of energysaving, anti-seismic, economical, etc., and it is ideal for the constructions of the Xinjiang region ’s townsand villages.The preliminary study of this research group shows that their target is to reach the bestcompressive strength and thermal conductivity. So they put forward the optimal mixture ratio of thepolystyrene lightweight treated soil (LWTS)and lightweight ceramsite concrete, and the research groupstudied compressive strength and shear strength of the combination of the above two kinds of material.These studies show that the new composite masonry structure seismic performance superior the sinteredclay brick masonry. In this paper, based on previous studies,we mainly studied the following matters.(1)By orthogonal experiment method, we treat compressive strength, density, size shrink as the target,determine the reasonable additive proportion of polypropylene vinyl lightweight soil under the optimalmixture ratio; the experimental results show that: the optimal mixture ratio under the optimal mixture ratiounder reasonable proportion of additives added pre-pressure is17.8KPa, the superplasticizer parameters is2.5%, the polypropylene indicators optimal expansive agent parameters4%.(2)Through the block wall in3different inner core strength, three different high-thickness ratio andthe2outer mold strength under compressive experiment, we studied wall cracking load under axialcompression, the ultimate load, the failure characteristics,and various factors on the impact of the wallcompressive strength under different cases.The experiments showed the following facts: the process of newinsulation lightweight concrete hollow block and adobe composite wall pressure by compression failure issimilar as the process of ordinary concrete hollow block wall failure; EPS lightweight concrete as the wallsof the inner core, the inner core and the outer membrane have a joint effect in the compression process, sothat the undermine of the wall is predictable, at the same time, they can enhance the compressive loadcarrying capacity of the wall; Under the same conditions, the pressure bearing capacity of the axis of thespecimen increases with the increase in the compressive strength of the inner core and with the increase inthe strength of the outer mold, with the increasing of the specimen’s thickness ratio, it decreases.(3)By theoretical analysis and experimental data matching,we derived the new insulation lightweightconcrete hollow block and adobe combination the wall axial compression wall bearing capacity factor andproposed capacity formula.
