Abstract/Summary:
Nowadays, the theft cases are increasing behind the growing number of vehicles in oursociety. The new car are only fitted with a simple and single alarm or lock device, for example,mechanical lock, electronic lock, etc. These anti-theft device is backward, its structure andremoval method have been well known for thieves. In addition, the traditional automotivesecurity devices can’t to realize the remote wireless alarm, even no alarm or false alarm.Besides, these devices can’t let the owner get their vehicles related information remotelywhen their vehicles was stolen. Therefore, research on vehicle positioning and remotewireless alarm technology could let the owners holding the last pass in the current fragilevehicle anti-theft system, and assist the police to recover the stolen vehicle effectively, helpthe owner to restore their economic losses even lives.The development of the Internet of things supply a new design concept, the applicationand popularization of the global position system and the global system for mobilecommunications supply a mature technical support for the vehicle positioning and security.Based on S3C2410and embedded Linux operating system, our design use GPS to positioning,use GSM to communicate wirelessly, and providing a friendly operating interface byMiniGUI. Different from other vehicle system, our design regard positioning as an anti-theftmeans, the alarm will be communicated by radio to the users’ specified mobile phone or othercommunication terminal to realize the joint of positioning anti-theft and wireless alarmorganically.Based on above idea, first, this design analyze the status quo of domestic and foreigndesign of vehicle positioning and anti-theft system, and research on the basic theory andapplication of the Internet of things, GPS, GSM, etc. Also, learning about the hardwaremodule, building embedded Linux environment and its programming, GPS navigation andoutput statements, GSM short message services, etc. On the basis of the above work, putsforward the general design scheme of the system, introduces system composition principle,including the system running environment and the hardware architecture of vehicle terminals.Then introduced the working principle and data input and output channel including S3C2410main control module and its peripheral interface, GPS receiver module, GSM module. Finally,through transplanting vivi bootloader, Linux system(including kernel and cramfs file system)and MiniGUI graphic middleware to S3C2410before developing drivers of GPS and GSMmodules, and then we write some applications based on the designed software architecture.The test result shows that the designed system can get the vehicle’s longitude and latitudeinformation efficiently, and send them to owner in a specified time interval by means of shortmessage to let the owner tracking conveniently when their vehicle is stolen,which is reachedthe desire specification.
