China’s northern region, most of the urban heating use central heating, a large amounts of energy is consumed in the winter heating,if the heating not handled properly will cause serious energy waste and environment pollution.Heat exchange station is one of the most important link in the central heating system, it plays a connecting role.it is significant to achieve automatic control system in heat transfer station for saving energy and reducing the pollution of the environment.In this paper, under the premise of the analysis of the structure and working principle of heat exchange station, an optimization scheme for heat exchange station control system is designed based on the method and principle of automatic control. The main propose of equal temperature control of supply and return temperature by stages and gives theoretical basis for the new control method, but also optimizes the control law of supply and return temperature in time according to the actual situation and which in order to achieve a better control effect. This method makes up for the many shortcomings of the commonly used control method. In addition this paper also analyzes the energy saving of frequency control of motor speed principle and presents a frequency conversion control method of circulating pump and supply water pump.Finally, this paper combines the actual engineering control requirements and designs heat exchange station intelligent control system based on PLC and HMI control scheme. The PLC heat exchange station real-time acquisition for the first and secondary network temperature, pressure, flow, liquid level and other process parameters and real-time reflect and control for all kinds of operating equipment running state. The scheme used in equal temperature control by stage, with PID control function, can be effective to control valve opening, and the realization of frequency control of motor speed of circulating pump and supply water pump. Application of touch screen mainly completes various monitoring pictures and acquisition parameter display, and accepts input parameters set information. Application of man-machine interface in the system, not only easy to observe and control the running status,but also improve the working efficiency of the staff.This control system has been put into operation in practice,after the commissioning test by using the scheme design of the heat transfer station, the system runs stably, high adjustment accuracy, easy to control, can better optimizes heating effect, has higher application value of the actual production.
