With the rapid development of the national economy,the highway bridge constructioncompany walk up to the international market.Now more and more bridge constructionprojects in Africa,South America countries ect are taken on by our country.Since thedifference of geogrephical conditions and the industry development ect,there are difference inthe highway bridge’s code in the domestic and overseas. To finish the bridge constructionsproject better and improves the highway bridge’s design code of our country, the bridgeengineers and bridge research scholars should learn the difference of the highway bridge’scode at home and abroad. The paper takes ZAMBIA SIOMA66m+120m+66mP.Ccontinuous girder bridge with large span as the engineering background to compare thedifference of Chinese bridge’s design code(JTG D62-2004) with Eurocode0~2and(AASHTO LRFD2007).The main accomplished works of the paper are as follows:1. Introduce the principal theory of structure design and numerical simulation in finiteelement of P.C continuous girder bridge with large span. Taking the Midas/Civil finiteelement analysis software as example, introduce the method and announcement of elementdivision,determining the boundry condition, determining construction loads,constructionstage devision, moving loads simulation in the course of FEM simulation of the cantileverconstruction of P.C continuous girder bridge with large span and giving some advice on thebridge structural optimization design.2. Summary Eurocode1and AASHTO LRFD2007highway bridge designspecifications on vehicle load and temperature load,and then compared with the Chinesehighway bridge’s design code.3. Summary Eurocode2and AASHTO LRFD2007highway bridge designspecifications on the limit state design method and the relevant provisions of load effectcombination form, and then compared with the Chinese highway bridge’s design code.4. Establish the FEM analysis model that is ZAMBIA SIOMA P.C continuous girderbridge using the finite element analysis software Midas/Civil. In accordance with differentcountries’ highway bridge’ bridge code load and load combinations, then check strength ofbridge structure (flexural strength and the bearing capacity of oblique section shear), crackresistance (right section and sloping section), and stress with different countries standard.Finally analyse comparatively internal force under individual load effect and differentcombinations of load effect. Then analyze the difference of highway bridge’s design codeabout prestressed concrete continuous beam bridge with long span structure design at homeand abroad. Through this research, the paper provides reference and suggestion for designingprestressed concrete continuous beam bridge with large span, conducting bridge engineeringconstruction at abroad and revising our country highway bridge’s design specifications.
