With widely use of pile foundation, the study on the capacity of bearing laterally loaded pile is becoming an inevitable trend. In some projects, the laterally load has even as the main controlling factors of pile foundation design. Compared with the study on vertical load bearing capacity of pile foundation, the study on laterally loads is backward; especially the pile foundation’s response under the dynamic load is even more inadequate. In addition, with its high cost and complex operation, the use of field load test of pile is restricted. Therefore, study with the simulation of deformation of the pile under different load and the surrounding soil is a research method of the pile foundation, has its theoretical and practical value.In this paper, we searche domestic and foreign research and to do a comprehensive analysis about the research, we use the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation to analysis the pile’s response under different load, different eological conditions, different length and diameter of pile; we also use the numerical simulation to analysis the pile’s response under different forms of dynamic load. The key points of the thesis are as follows:(1) We use the finite element software ABAQUS to simulate the stress and displacement of pile, and the simulation results to compare with m method results, we also analyze the errors and reason of theirs.(2) Making the change of load size, geological conditions, the length of pile, the diameter of pile to research the change of the displacement of pile, the moment of pile, the shear of pile with theirs, and use the result to compare with m method results, we also fit the result and analyze the error.(3) Using ABAQUS to build a finite element pile-spring model, and compared with the m method result, the result of finite element pile-soil model. We analyze the shortage of the finite element pile-spring model. We analyze the change of displacement, moment, shear of pile with the change of spring stiffness, fit the result, analyze the errors.(4) We also research the response of pile under sudden load, sine load, impact load, and earthquake, and analyze the different of theirs.(5) We simulate the the change of displacement of pile, moment of pile, shear of pile with the change of geological conditions, the length of pile, the diameter of pile, and analyze the different of theirs.(6) Comparative analysis of the different response of a signal pile under static load and dynamic loads.
