Abstract/Summary:
Urban green space system coming from park system is part of urban ecosystem. The idea of greenspace system planning appears after that of contemporary European park. It is known that, the function ofgreen space system is not only for tourism and greening, but also an effective way of regulating urbandevelopment and urban context.The immoderate exploitation of natural resources decreases the diversity of species, damages theenvironment, which makes urban green space system a necessity of these cities. Urban green spaceplanning for natural resources type cities will be a key point. This report focuses on detail urban greenspace planning for Fugu County based on the characteristics of natural resources type city. As a industrialand ecologically weak natural resources type city, Fugu County brings forward the idea of ‘one center tworibbon with a pair of wings, multi-points connected by green corridors’. Based on the former planning ofgreen space system, considering the characteristic of urban resource exploitation, mining area would beimproved by green space, agricultural land, which might decrease geologic disasters. As for vegetationplanning, due to industrial condition, waste tolerant trees are selected. At the same time, consider the dustdefending and the noise reducing function of vegetation while planning.Through this planning, the ecological benefits, social benefits and cultural benefits would beachieved. The friction between urban resource exploitation and urban ecology would be remitted. At themean time, the planning would have long-term positive effect on the urban image, urban function,investment environment and quality of life. The planning would have two stages:2011-2015and2016-2030. The target of this planning would be: by2015, green space936.62hectares, including parkarea146.43hectares, park green space per person9.76square meter, green space rate39.29%, greencovering rate above43%.
