Joint connecting beam and column is the anxis to transfer force. It bears the axial force, shear force and bending moment from beam and column end. It is in a complex stress state. The complexity of stress leads to a situation that the joint has become the weakest link of structure. The rationality of the design has great influence on the overall stability and the quality of construction structure. So it is necessary to make some research work on the joint connecting beam and column. At present, the domestic and international research on the joint connecting steel-reinforced concrete-filled steel tubular column and steel concrete beam is relatively less.This paper take the Poyang Lake ecological economic exhibition hall as a concrete example to carry on the analysis. Teel pipe concrete column and nodes in the original design of steel reinforced concrete beams for reinforcement treatment is used in steel structure directly through steel tubular column. Although the original force transmission effect is good, but the smaller diameter steel tube column and through the reinforcement increased. Which leading to steel tubular column damage is too large and not conducive to the construction.Using finite element analysis software ABAQUS for modeling and analysis of the improved joint for SRC beam with steel-reinforced concrete-filled steel tubular column. By the analysis of concrete, steel and steel stress, strain distribution analysis, get the node failure mode. At the same time, calculated by establishing different models, analysis of the impact of different factors on performance of joints. Hope this research work provides certain reference value for design and construction of this node in the future.
