With the rapid development of the railway construction in China, a largenumber of high-speed railways were completed and put into operation. Thehigh-speed railway viaduct, as an important part of high-speed railway system,the dynamic characteristics directly affect the safety of high-speed train.China is an earthquake-prone country, so the study of the amplification effectof the high-speed railway viaduct under earthquake is of great practicalsignificance. In this paper, based on the actual data of typical structure ofhigh-speed railway viaduct, a large amount of calculation is carried on byusing finite element analysis method. And some conclusions are drawn. Themain research contents are as follows:1. The situation of high-speed railway and the characteristics of thehigh-speed railway bridge in China are introduced. The earthquake disastersin recent years of railway bridges and the research status of seismic responseof high-speed railway bridges are recommended. Theories of the analysis ofthe seismic response of the bridge are summarized.2. The3-D finite element analysis model of the typical structure ofhigh-speed railway viaduct is built by the Midas/Civil program. The dynamiccharacteristics of the bridge are researched.3. Parameters effects of the seismic response of the bridge are analyzed,such as the pier height, the spectral characteristics and intensity of groundmotion, additional quality of bridge, damping ratio.4. In order to study amplification factors of high-speed railway viaductunder the action of earthquake, bridge models under fourteen calculation conditionsare established. Thirty strong ground motion records are input into the models.Four hundred and twenty amplification factors are obtained by thetime-history analysis method. The95%assurance probability of the value isgiven.
