Application Of Public Sculpture In The Landscape Design

In twenty-first Century with the further increase of population and the city it has aroused public concern and attention to public landscape. City landscape sculpture as the soul of city construction is becoming more and more prominent in the city construction. In this case from a practical point of view to balance the cultural landscape and the natural environment, and integrate landscape sculpture into public landscape design is of great significance. The harmony of landscape sculpture into landscape design is important.This paper explains the definition and the relationship of the public landscape and landscape sculpture taking classic Chinese and foreign examples analyzing the characteristics of landscape sculpture’s harmony with nature, culture and space. With the practice and creation of some landscape sculpture it summarizes the significance of the harmony of landscape sculpture in public in landscape design. It shines a light on its trend and development.Through the study of the integration of landscape sculpture, we recognize that we must precede from their own cultural perspective, from the perspective of project subject to better integrate landscape sculpture in life. It is important to create the accordance with the contemporary aesthetic view so that public landscape sculpture works well within the design and intimately with citizens.
