The study on integrated design with structure and control for mechanism hasbecome a hot topic. With the development of tending to be lighter, faster and moreaccurate., the flexibility of the components become the restricting factors inevitablely,because it will lead to the dynamics modeling and solving with great difficulty. Thispaper presents a method to realize the integrated design based on professional software.The main works are as follows.1. The interface software was designed by use of the interface between ADAMSand ANSYS. The dynamics modeling and solving problem of flexible mechanism weredealt with. The generalization problem of the software were also introducedpreliminarily. On the questions of typical condition selection and modal truncationcriterion, alternative conclusions were given based on simulation results.2. Based on the above-mentioned realizing method, combining with Matlab andISIGHT, a method to realize the integrated design of structure and control was given,and the flow chart of optimization was drawn out.3. On the establishment of software platform, a slider-crank system with flexiblerod was designed. The simulation results show that the method was effective. Thismethod is also applicable for the complicated mechanism system.
