Nowdays, the maintenance demand of concrete pavement, highways, large airportnow and the parking lot,is higher and higher. With the continuous improvement ofmechanization, the highway construction has develeped by leaps and bounds nearlyten years. Market demand for milling planer are on the increase.Taking1m millingplaner and2m milling planer for example, the market need600units per year and200units per year. Domestic milling planer has developed fastly.Firstly,we could onlyproduce1m milling planer, however,we could manufacture2.1m milling machine andeven make Cold regeneration equipment. All suggest that domestic technology can becomparable to the foreign products.Relying on previous researchs, we study the milling process from another pointof view. Article summarizes the research status of the milling machine, and elaboratedthe purpose and research topics. Then we analysis the model of HJC and optimize theoriginal date. Finally we derive new date.In accordance with the characteristics of themachine,we concisly introduce and analyse the milling system. Simultaneously wesummarized the milling process of the milling machine and got the milling model andpavement material model,in order to provide some convenient for the analysis.According to the trajectory of the tool,we analysis the force of the tool. On the basisof the empirical formula, we got the relation between the the milling resistance andthe speed. According to the analysis of hydraulic system, especially the study of thewalking system,we got relationship formula between the walking system power andthe milling system power with the operating speed, milling depth.According to the characteristics of the milling machine milling, we practice thesimulation analysis of milling concrete pavement by the nonlinear dynamic analysisLS-DYNA. The HJC was selected for the pavement model. we analyse the simulationresults rely on LS-PREPOST and got the resistance with the different milling depthand milling speed. At the same time wo compared the calculation result and thesimulation result. Lastly we verified the formula by the experiment,as well as thesimulation result.
