With the increasing depletion of natural resources, countries are vigorously develop new energy technologies and electric vehicles. In this context, the electric car has been considerable development as a representative of the new energy products. Battery and charge-discharge technology is one of the key technologies of restricting the development of electric vehicles. In this paper, the bi-directional dc/dc converter uses bidirectional control of energy flow,achievs charging and discharging integration. Bi-directional dc/dc converter can optimize the control structure of the electric car, improve operating efficiency and performance of the vehicle.First introduced the current development of electric vehicles, and pointed out that the research focus of the bi-directional dc/dc converter. By contrast, the paper analysis the topology modeling, methods and control strategies.Then average method based on state space modeling converter introduced in detail according to the design specifications of the main parameters of the converter selection process.Secondly, according to the electric car dc/dc converter input/output side voltage fast and stability requirements,Buck mode, taking advantage of using its anti-input voltage disturbance ability and the advantages of fast dynamic response single-cycle control strategy was using, matlab simulation verifys the effectiveness of the control strategy. Boost mode, according to the characteristics of non-minimum phase systems boost circuit used feedforward and feedback control strategy to overcome the the unstable shortcomings of the boost circuit.and then detaily calculates the efficiency of the bi-directional dc/dc converter.Finally, designs an experimental prototype, developes the core control algorithm of DSP, gives the details of the hardware circuit and software flow chart and experimental waveforms results basically reached the system design specifications.
