The internal reinforcement of concrete bridge structure is complex. The diameter thedirection and location of the internal reinforcement, both the thickness of the protectivelayer are unknown. Nondestructive detection of internal corrosion of steel is still aworldwide problem that does not completely solve. Based on the background, this paperput forward quantitative nondestructive detecting experiment on degree of bridgeinternal reinforcement corrosion based on double electrode potential and TEM imagingmethod.First of all, through extensive investigation, gets the characteristics and laws ofconcrete reinforcement corrosion by the types and the influencing factors of internalreinforcement corrosion, then summarizes the corrosion morphology.On this basis, through the analysis of the mechanism of reinforcement corrosion andcomparing the chemical methods, physical methods of reinforcement corrosiondetection in cracking condition and no cracking conditions of corrosion test methods,we can accurately diagnose corrosion extent of steel and corrosion rate and get the newnondestructive testing method of the quantitative indicators, quantitative nondestructivedetecting experiment on degree of bridge internal reinforcement corrosion based ondouble electrode potential and TEM imaging method.Using this method, we can notonly carry on the qualitative detection of rebar corrosion, but also achieve the goal ofquantitative detection which can identify size and location of corrosion by capturingrust target.At last, through laboratory design and test a realistic quantitative nondestructivedetecting experiment on degree of bridge internal reinforcement corrosion based ondouble electrode potential method. By comparing the different water-cement ratio andconcrete protective layer thickness, different bar diameter and different surface potentialgradient under several working conditions to get the basic characteristics of internalreinforcement corrosion, then verify the feasibility and practicability of this method.This paper put up with the result of quantitative nondestructive detecting experiment ondegree of bridge internal reinforcement corrosion based on double electrode potentialand TEM imaging method, which can fully combine advantages of double electrodepotential method with TEM imaging method. And solve the worldwide problem thatbridge internal reinforcement corrosion on-site inspection can only be qualitative, not quantitative detection. This method has a broad market prospect and application value,and will generate huge economic benefits and social benefits.
