Cable hoisting system is composed of the main cable, lifting trolley,hoistcables, draglines, winches, tower, the wind cable wire and ground anchors andother components. It is a temporary construction equipment which can transportlarge span and vertical lifting heavy objects. Cable hoisting system has a greatadvantage in terms of vertical lifting and horizontal transportation. Its liftingcapacity can reach hundreds tons and vertical lifting distance can reach hundredsmeters. The device can be designed, installed in-place. Owing to its high-efficiency and small terrain restrict,the cable hoisting construction system is usedin the construction of long-span arch bridge widely.In this thesis, as the background of Beibei Chaoyang bridge cable hangingsystem I mainly discussed the rope static analysis and its application in actualengineering. Combination of static analysis and the relative error between maincable approximation with the exact method, I demonstrates the main cable sagproject design selects the main cable design Span Ratio in1/15to1/20by anexample. Thus neither the structure is overloaded since vertical cross-ratio is too small, nor will increase the difficulty of the lifting trolley course since sagis too large, impact the construction. Also in the design vertical cross-ratiorange, the approximation can replace the exact method to calculate the maincable, fast yet accurate. I also discussed the calculation error of main cablesusing the single and double hanging point, and summarizes the simpl-ified sin-gle hanging point formula instead of the twin-lift formula. And meanwhile Iverified the cable hanging system with a single lifting point is feasible.Using the finite element analysis software Midas/civil I modeled and analysedthe cable hanging ropes and pylon system, and the results showed that the cablehanging system reasonable force, safe and reliable.
