As the advantages of using precast segmental column construction as opposed tocast-in place column construction include industrialproduction,environmentprotection,engineering quality can be assuranced, so the assembly of prestressed concretesegmental piers at home and abroad to receive widespread attention, and in the actualproject has also been a certain application. Our applications mainly in urban viaductand bridge construction. Our country is a country prone to earthquakes, the1976Tangshan earthquake and the2008Wenchuan earthquake people tremendous loss oflife and property. Therefore, the assembly of prestressed concrete segmental seismicperformance of bridge piers is particularly important in this area of research, theUnited States and Japan are walking in the forefront of the world, and our research forthe assembly pier is in its infancy stage.This paper summarizes the domestic and international segments assembledprestressed concrete piers existing research, based on a numerical analysis method,respectively Segmental Box prestressed concrete piers, the whole cast concrete piers,the overall prestressed concrete piers Numerical Simulation. Meanwhile according tointernational cooperation projects, segmental assembled earthquake seismicperformance of bridge piers Study (Item Number:2011DFA83300) in theperformance of self-compacting concrete work the main conclusions of the study areas follows:Subjected to the three demission seismic force of0.5g acceleration, the residualdisplacement of precast segmental column is much small then that of the conventionalmonolithic column, which shows that the precast segmental column has much betterself-resetting ability.1. Under the three-dimensional seismic0.5g peak acceleration the action ofprestressed concrete segmental bridge pier top assembly maximum displacementis greater than the displacement of the whole Situ concretepiers.2. The proper content of the influence factors to the flow of self compacting concreteis as follows:445kg/m3~390kg/m3of the cementitious material,20%~30%offly ash,45%~47%of the sand rate.3. Using the finite element software OpenSees the four piers do most unfavorablesectional moment-curvature analysis, the energy-containing prestressing steel andcast steel piers overall flexural capacity of the strongest, non-prestressed andnon-consumption segments can be assembled pier reinforced flexural weakest.4. Due to steel fiber reinforced concrete tensile strength and splitting strength than ordinary concrete is much greater, so the earthquake force prestressed concretesegmental assembly of steel fiber reinforced concrete piers of damage between thesegments is less than prime between sections of concrete damage, so that you canreduce the force of the earthquake pier piers residual displace.
