Suspension bridge becomes the choice of many long span bridges. Because the modernsuspension bridge has many advantages such as large spanning capacity, with makingsprovinces and light weight. Based on the construction of the mainspan for536m of LiuJiaXiasingle span steel truss suspension bridge as the background and also combineing with theengineering practice., bridge structure internal force and suspension bridge’s natural vibrationcharacteristics are analysed on the basis of existing research in the paper.then parametersinfluence including rise-span ratio, main cable, sling, main tower and the central buckle set inthe area of the bridge dynamic performance. Second, vehicle and temperature loads whichaffect the structure displacement and internal force are also analysed.Finally,Consideringgeometric nonlinear effects, the results betwwen linner method and nonliner are compared.The first chapter of this paper reviews the development prcess of morden suspensionbridge,then the form features of the suspension bridge structure are summarized. The secondchapter briefly introduces the analysis theory of suspension bridge structure (elastic theory,deflection theory, finite displacement theory ect), For the back of LiuJiaXia suspension bridge,the static and dynamic analysis provides a theoretical basis.The space structure of suspension bridge model are seted up with Midas/Civil2010. Theeffeets of rigidity variations on the bridge’s danymic performance are discussed,such as themain cable and tower etc. different forms of central buckle is researched furthermore.Through discussion,then draw some conclusions from which we can provide some refereneefor the dynamic performance optimization design of modern suspension bridge.Based on the finite model, paper analyses the static performance of vehicle load and temperatureload,then compares the results according to the difference of the suspension bridge betweenlinear method and nonlinear method of computing which is calculated by.Results confirm thatthe suspension bridge has great stiffness and geometric nonlinear effect is not obvious in theoperation stage,so suspension bridge adopts linear method is feasible for the live loadanalysis.
