Environmental chemistry batteries with excellent performance are largely needed in our society because of the rapid development of mobile appliances and smart phones. Polymer electrolyte indicates many advantages such as low pollution and high safety among them. At the same time, polymer electrolyte becomes research focus nowadays because of its high specific energy, environmental protection, high safety and so on. The polymer electrolyte system using PEO as the matrix is currently the most commonly studied. However, there are still many problems need to be optimized in order to improve the system, such as low electrical conductivity caused by high crystallinity at room temperature. Therefore, it is important to prepare the modified PEO matrix polymer electrolyte and this paper mainly studied polymer electrolyte from the following aspects:1.A new polymer matrix [P(EO+EM+AGE)] was synthesized by copolymerization reaction through the three monomers EO, EM and AGE. We prepared a series of polymer electrolyte membrane through new polymer-based system and the result shows that the degree of crystallinity and thermal stability of the new polymer electrolyte membrane has decreased compared with the PEO-based electrolyte membrane. However, the lithium-ion transference number increased.2. Different oxidation methods were used to synthesize a group of the carboxylic acid compound with a plasticizing effect attempting to synthesize a carboxylic acid with a carbonic acid ester structure of a straight-chain ether oxygen. Finally, we found that polyethylene glycol carboxylic acid get from polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether can meet the requirements of objectives. Subsequently we explored the best oxidation addition of polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether to polyethylene glycol carboxylic. At the same time, we chemically modified polyethylene glycol carboxylic acids and nanoparticles by thermogravimetric and infrared analysis of the surface modification of the modified nanoparticles.3. Nano polymer electrolyte was prepared by a series of surface-modified nano-silica particles, PEO and Terpolymer-15. Through a series of research, we found that that the the modified nanoparticles M-3PEO matrix modification effect of the polymer electrolyte is best and electrolyte prepared through Terpolymer-15doped with M-3have good electrochemical performance.
