| The research on hydrodynamic process is the focus area of the geoscience research, of which modeling and numerical simulation is a powerful means. Normally a complete hydrodynamic simulation includes three parts, which are data preprocessing, model nested calculations and data visualization. The three parts are logically unified, but they are independently performed in practical operation, and the operating software of each is different. All these lead to the cumbersome simulation procedure, high cost and low efficiency. Due to the difference among the development principles and background, the model programs differ in aspects like discrete grid and program execution, so that it is often needed to manually modify the model code and data files when nested calculating the model. Due to the high cost of time, money and human resource of the current simulation method for hydrodynamic process, the development of the subject is greatly restricted; the promotion of the hydrodynamic simulation is also impeded. It is not suitable for multi-disciplinary research.Based on the issues occurred in the research of the simulation of hydrodynamic process, which are the dispersion of simulation process and low automation of the nested calculation model, this paper presents a systematic exploration in the integrated simulation method of hydrodynamic process in web environment by taking the typical2D large-scale model of POM and3D scale model of CSTM as examples. The main results are as follows:(1) the automatic nested calculation method of the multi-scale hydrodynamic modelThe basic principles of hydrodynamic processes and hydrodynamic model is analyzed, and the classification of the hydrodynamic mode is summarized and described. Then based on the analysis of the calculation principle of POM and CSTM, by taking the POM and CSTM as examples, an automatic nested calculation method of the multi-scale hydrodynamic model is proposed.(2) the integrated simulation method of hydrodynamic processTaking advantage of Web technology in ease of use and standardization, as well as the powerful spatial data management and visualization capabilities of GIS, the four major aspects of integration of hydrodynamic process simulation and WebGIS is analyzed, which are spatial reference integration, grid integration, data integration and application integration. So that the three parts of simulation of hydrodynamic process is integrated. Then an integrated simulation method of the hydrodynamic process in the Web environment is put forward.(3) the integrated simulation scheme of hydrodynamic processBased on technologies like the ArcGIS for Server, PostgreSQL and Silverlight, by taking the CSTM and POM as example, an integrated simulation scheme of hydrodynamic process is designed and implemented. Two simulation experiments of open borders and closed border are based on different regions. The contrast verification of the tide data and the NAO99model shows that the experimental simulation results match the actual data, and the applicability and feasibility of the proposed simulation method. This method presents a brand new exploration in the research of hydrodynamic process. |
