Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of social economy, the demands for safe and stable operation of power grids become higher. As an important mean of implementation of the intelligent distribution network, distribution automation improves power supply reliability of city and is the inevitable trend of modern power system development.Modem electronic technology, communication technology, computer and network technology combined with electric power equipment are the basic of distribution automation. It mainly realizes the functions of lines of monitoring, control, protection and measurement. At the same time, it makes the enterprise set the ideal price to meet customer demands and get the best economic benefits.First of all, the structure of distribution automation and current development background are briefly described in this paper. Face with these problems such as rack aging, fragility, low coverage and so on in the Hangzhou electricity distribution network automation, project planning rules are designed to deal with these potential risk. According to the requirement of the planning, the distribution of a rack, circuit and the principle and content of equipment modification are applied in the master station and the station of power distribution automation system. In the economic perspective, three different communication technologies such as EPON, power line carrier, wireless public network are compared and chosen to carry out appropriate plans. Finally, the economic benefits of this project and its implementation are carefully studied; management efficiency and social benefits, distribution automation pilot project implementation, will make the grid more reasonable and reliable, economical and flexible. Now the pilot area has entirely cover with distribution automation terminals and communications network.It is believed that the completion of this project not only can be used as a model of domestic distribution automation practical, but also can be used as the symbol of smart distribution network construction project.
