Oil-filled cables with the history of more than80years. The paper in the cable has been added the insulation oil all the time, so oil-filled cable has the features of high strength in anti-voltage, highly stable and reliable in performance and long service life. It is mainly applicable in neutral grounded three-phase power grid and underground hydropower station has been widely used it as outlet and connection lines. Substation and switching station also use it as transmission lines, airports and urban power grids and so on. Detection of high-pressure oil-filled cables include two aspects, one point is insulation breakdown test, the second is the detection of leakage points.This article is based on reading literatures including home and abroad about transmission line fault detection and monitoring summarizing results of previous studies, it analyzes of the existing range of high-pressure oil-filled power cable faults detection principles and characteristics. Bases on the results of comprehensive researches, it summarized a complete set of fault detection program to high-pressure oil-filled cable. This fault detection scheme based on existing hardware conditions, based on both detection of insulation failure point also includes detection of leakage points. Insulation failure detection is in the basis of several traditional fault detection methods, the proposed classification based on fuzzy theory and adaptive fuzzy inference system, positioning the new detection method. This article highlighting introduces the fault location and oil leak detection principle and the various methods. Secondly, it proposes hydraulic line monitoring system to realize a real-time monitoring, fault alarm, data logging capabilities, to meet the hydraulic data for cable remote monitoring and centralized management needs. Finally, it makes a prospect for the research and application of oil-filled high-voltage transmission line fault detection. |
