Smart power utilization service is an important part of the grid, and its core to realize the intelligent service for users is to build a real-time interaction platform between the grid enterprises and users, which can improve the stability and reliability of power supply, and provide users with more humanized and multiple intelligence services. IoT technology can able to effectively enhance the smart power utilization service system with its overall perception, reliable communication and strong data processing ability.First of all, this paper gives a description of the construction background and significance of the smart power utilization, and analyzes its position and action in the smart grid. Summarizes and compares the current situation of IoT and smart grid home and abroad. Secondly, to analysis IoT and its application mode in the smart power utilization service system. Then according to the demand analysis, to study the function demand both in software and hardware and design a smart power utilization service system which based on hybrid networking. By researching the overall system architecture and its functions, design the basic structure of the power information acquisition system and the home side intelligent system. Finally, design a communication network implementation scheme for pilot community according to the actual project requirements, and gives the practical construction of equipment deployment, configuration and application.
