The Design Of Automobile Speed Sensor Performance Testing System

Braking security of modern automobile is mainly depended on the ABS in which speed sensor takes a pivotal role and have a direct influence on the driving safety. In order to accurately control the outgoing quality of speed sensor, a testing device which is able to simulate the wheel rotation of real car is strongly needed. Both quick multigroup measure and the immediate saving of the test data are demanded. Not only performance test but failure research of speed sensor could be achieved with the testing system.The speed sensor and its testing system has been outlined in the first chapter, including the main research contents and research target of this paper.Function theory of two widely used kinds of speed sensor has been interpreted in chapter2, thus the hardware of testing system could be designed on basis of the theory. Considering the stability and manipulating security of personnel, control facilities and testing devices are mounted on the same platform. Material of this platform should be angel iron of45steel.Four primary parameters (including resistance, currency, voltage, duty ratio) which should be tested with this testing system are introduced in chapter3.Yanhua USB-4704capture card is applied to collect testing data which will be managed and operated by labview. Modularization programming method has been utilized during the programming procedure. What’s more, child VI (including screening type choosing child VI, two-wire Hall element testing child VI, three-wire Hall element testing child VI, magnetoelectric sensor testing child VI and so on) have been called layer upon layer by VI nesting method. Filtering program is selected in the end of this chapter.Failure patterns of automobile speed sensor has been attributed and analyzed in chapter4, parallel verification has been dealing and thus can be used for the testing and diagnose of speed sensor producing.
