The Application Of Earth Art In Wilderness Landscape Design

The Land Art wich first appeared in1960s bringing a huge impact on people’s visualization and large shock on people’s spiritualization and all of those have bring a new language for traditional landscape design. As a way of artistic means Land Art have a collision with the modern landscape design which bringing a strong impetus to the development of modern landscape design. For a comprehensive landscape designers the knowledge of art, design, social purpose, ecology and economics are all indispensable, and should be used reasonably.This paper studies the origin of the earth art, summarized and analyzed the characteristics of its artistic, host factors, aesthetic ideas, combing the context of the theory of the earth art; Secondly, we explore the relationship between the land of art and landscape design. Objective review this movement in art, earth art, the proposed earth art under the influence of landscape form, landscape positioning, summed up the significance of the development of earth art of contemporary landscape; Furthermore, the thesis content specific combination of actual projects on the Great Northern Wilderness one of the specific areas in-depth study. How to avoid Reclamation towns homogenization, how to introduce the art of modern landscape design practices, how the original ecological environment and cultural landscape, and so on, are the paper is to explore the contents.
